They say music is everywhere and it sets the mood for anything. It can calm your feelings or  it can stimulate your senses depending on the type and genre.
Music is a big source of inspiration for most of us. It sometimes even influences us in the way we do our layouts. We even end up using some of the lyrics in our pages!
This month, the challenge is to use a song lyric as a title for your layout. Also, include part of the song in your journal.

This challenge will be judged by a panel from the Scrapbytes Team based on the following criteria:
Overall Design & Craftsmanship - 30% Does it create a visual impact? Do the techniques used enhance the overall design?
Originality and Creativity - 30% Does it have an original or creative theme and use of products? Is there a distinct style to the designer? Is it unique?
Photo Quality - 15% Do they tell a story? Are they crisp and clear? Are they expressive? Is the focus on the photos in the layout?
Journaling - 15% Does the journaling provide adequate and valuable information about the photos? Is the journaling meaningful and easy to read?
Challenge Requirements - 10% Does it adhere to the requirements of the challenge?
Total - 100%
Notes:
* Deadline to upload entries is midnight of July 31, 2007. Entries should be posted under the Monthly Challenge of the Scrappin’ Moms Gallery.
* Limited to one (1) entry per person.
* Layout should not be smaller than 8" x 8".
* Scrapbytes challenge winners cannot win two (2) consecutive contests, but we’d love to see your layouts in our gallery for inspiration. Example: Winner for the June 2007 challenge is not eligible to win the July 2007 challenge, but is once again eligible for the August 2007 challenge.

 It was a close fight, but there has to be a winner in the end!
Congratulations to Hanna Fernando-Pacua for winning the June "Man of the Hour" challenge.
Her witty execution to show her husband's "split-personality" was well captured by her layout thru her unique design and supported by great photos and embellishments.
