Bjay Jaminal - Right Now

My design took off from the eye-catching movement of the black and red ribbon, plus the "burst" of silhoutte on top of it. By using a sunray chipboard and some cut-up patterned paper swirls, I was able to achieve the ad's look, without being too constrained to the literal design I was following. I also placed both my title and sub-title vertically to play up some more movement within the layout.
I had major fun following the inspo!
